At Renoxx Caregivers, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. For Chiara Jaffe, a dedicated mother and advocate, finding a place where her son Jake could thrive wasn’t easy until she discovered Renoxx.
How It All Began
Chiara first learned about Renoxx Caregivers through a trusted recommendation. “When Jake joined the Autism Waiver, we were given a list of providers,” she shared. “I noticed Renoxx was on the list, and a parent of one of Jake’s classmates spoke very highly of them calling them ‘small but mighty.’ That stuck with me.”
That recommendation combined with the reputation of key staff like Ms. Erica and Ms. Precious gave Chiara the confidence to enroll Jake in Renoxx’s services.
A Customized Approach That Makes a Difference
Jake, a vibrant and energetic young boy, faced behavioral challenges that made it difficult for other providers to accommodate him. But Renoxx rose to the occasion.
“They hired Cephas specifically to work one-on-one with Jake — and she’s been incredible,” Chiara said. “Jake needs someone who’s firm but kind, and Cephas is exactly that. The entire team has shown nothing but understanding, compassion, and flexibility from day one.”
What stood out most to Chiara was how responsive Renoxx was to her feedback. “I mentioned in a survey that I didn’t receive a daily update form about Jake’s day and literally the next day, they started sending one home. That level of attentiveness really means a lot.”
Positive Changes at Home and Beyond
While the school environment had been difficult due to changing teachers, Kiara noticed that Jake was more regulated, independent, and happy on days he attended Renoxx. “He’s doing more things at home on his own going to the fridge, getting what he needs and he’s more consistent about it now,” she noted.
Even Jake’s educational advocate observed a stark difference: “She visited Renoxx and told me how wonderful it was. She said Cephas was great with Jake, and that the staff were not only kind but extremely competent.”
Three Words That Define Renoxx
When asked to describe Renoxx Caregivers in three words, Chiara thoughtfully replied:
“Kindness. Fun. And Teaching.”
She explained, “It’s not just about providing a safe space. Jake is learning. It’s interactive, engaging, and they truly build on his strengths.”
A Message to Other Families
Chiara’s message to other parents exploring support options was clear:
“Look no further. This is a place for your child. They accommodate a wide range of needs and personalities. They truly build on each child’s strengths. It’s a beautiful thing to see your child accepted fully for who they are.”
Where Acceptance Meets Empowerment
At Renoxx Caregivers, it’s stories like Jake’s that remind us why our work matters. Through individualized support, responsive care, and a deep respect for each child’s journey, we’re proud to offer more than services we offer family-centered partnerships that foster growth, joy, and possibility.
